Our Generalissimo has in his principles advocated

the upholding of the authority of the Kuomintang.

Objects of our National

their activities.

Revolutionary Armies in

Sine the outset of the Northern Expedition, our

National Revolutionary Armies from the officers to the

privates have coped with innumerable instances of danger,

and more than 30,000 of them have either been killed or

wounded. Such sacrifices are to be much valued, for

we have in view the noble object of promoting in compliance

with the principles of the "Three Aspects of Democracy"

our National Revolution in which we aim at the overthrow

of militarism, Imperialism, Obscurantism, Feudalism, and

all influences that hinder our racial development and

endanger the existence of our Chinese race, and the

emancipation of our Chinese race and the acquisition of

independence, freedom and equality for China. Nobody

who has not a clear conception of this object, can be

qualified to be a National Revolutionary soldier, and

any person who has a desire to destroy our National

Revolution and make us fail to achieve our end will be

an enemy to our National Revolutionary Army.

We have fought in seven or eight provinces such

as Hunan, Hupeh, Kiangsi, Fukien, Chekiang, Anwei, and

Kiangsu, and have occupied them through the sacrifices

we have made for the sake of our principles, while the

provinces of Shansi, Kansu, Szechwan, Kweichow and

Yunnen have also flocked together under the National

Revolutionary standard and worked hard for our Revolution.

The militarists in the North have been defeated in

immediate succession and the Imperialists have been

seized
