THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
Sir,
I have the honour to enclose for your
information a copy of a letter with enclosures
from the Netherland Consul General at Hong Kong
on the subject of an alleged plot to murder His
Excellency the Governor General of Netherland
India and the Attorney General of the Netherland
Colonies.
2. The premises of the Loong Tong Company
referred to therein were searched without result.
3. A copy of the reply which I caused to
be sent to the Consul General is enclosed.
4.
His Majesty's Government is no doubt in possession of full information regarding the Com-
munist movement in the Netherland East Indies and Malaya, including the recent outbreak in the former, and appreciates the very grave degree to which the native populations of these territories have been and are still being infected by the doctrines of
Moscow.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,/
Your most obedient, humble servant,
LIEUTENANT COLONEL 1.C.M.S. AMERY, M.P.,
