(e) To take note that the Secretary of State for Foreign
Affairs would consider carefully the views expressed
at the Cabinet in regard to the disapproval (in
telegram No.352 to Sir Miles Lampson) of private
proposals for financing Chang Tso-lin, and that Sir
Austen Chamberlain would report the results of his
re-examination to the Prime Minister with a view, if
the Prime Minister should deem necessary, to further
consideration of the question by the Cabinet.
