Regulation 23. Delete "one 12 bore gm" and
substitute "one .44 Winchester Rifle or Greener

Regulation 35.
Add or outside the grilled area on
the boat deck. All guards off duty at night will
■leep inside the grilled area, and have their

Regulation 37. Delete last sentence and substitute "The omers, agents, charterers and licensees
shall pay to the Colonial Treasurer on the first day of every month $27.00 for No.1 Guarda £25.00 for every other guards employed."
Additions of the following new regulations:-
(1) "Plans of new river steamers, steam launches,
and other vessels which will carry passengers
and come under the provisions of the Piracy Prevention Ordinance No.23 of 1914 will be
submitted to Harbour Master for approval before
vessel is constructed. The Committee will draw
up a scheme of defense including provision of grills, dodgers, and plating for approval of
Harbour Master. After approval by Harbour Master the position will be marked on the plan and included in the vessels construction".

(2) "An arms locker, capable of holding all arms and ammunition entered on the ships arms licence, will be provided inside the grilled area, and fitted to the satisfaction of the Captain Superintendent of Police. This Regulation to apply to vessels both over and under 60 tons". (Arms on board steamers are at present being kept in all sorts of places, such as under beds, etc., and proper arms lockers are necessary to prevent theft.)
