I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled an Ordinance to modify certain provisions of the Treaty of peace (Hungary) Order, 1921, for the purpose of adapting the provisions
of the order to the circumstances of the Colony of Hongkong,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
2.
The object of the ordinance is to adapt to the circumstances
of the Colony the provisions of the Treaty of Peace (Hungary) order,
1921.
The general method followed is that which was adopted in
Ordinance No. 16 of 1920, which dealt with the Treaty of Peace
(Austria) Order, 1920.
