12. This circular does not apply to officers who are already entitled to free passages under existing free pissage schemes; with the exception that officers so entitled will be granted passages in r spect of all sons under the age of sixteen years and all unmarried daughters,

It is requested that Hewls of Departments will send to the Harbour Master at as early a date as possible a schedule giving particulars of all passages to England which will probably be required by officers in their departments during the ensuing twelve months.

If, owing to shortness of notice, the Harbour Master is unable to book by a Line which supplies the appropriate accommodation at the cheapest rate 10 the Goverument, the Government reserves the right to charge the officer concerned with any additional expenditure which may be incurred through book-

ing by another Line,
