Adverting to your letter No. $6 of 7th January last by which you were informed that you were interdicted from the functions of your office and invited to explain the charges made against you by the Colonial Surgeon (1) of not having made up the deficiency of $185 in the Steward's Accounts and (2) of misappropriating $169.07 entrusted to your care; adverting also to your letter No. 125 of the 8th January last in which you formally charged with misappropriating $169 belonging to patients.
