I mentioned to the Chief Justice my objection of being connected with the management of any such property, which he said was not thought anything of that in the Colony; and on the suggestion of the Chief Justice, I prepared a further report setting out the nature of the Bankrupt's interest, the probability of the parties entitled in reversion becoming purchasers and the character of the tenants, and praying for directions to hold a sale.
Before these reports were prepared, I had a report before me asking for directions to hold a dividend meeting for the purposes of distributing among the creditors the monies which were in hand, but after the before-mentioned intimation of the Chief Justice, I wished to make any objection I had better place it before him formally.
These reports were presented to the Chief Justice in open Court in the usual manner and an order was made authorizing the sale of the property. The property was then advertised and negociations entered into with the agent for the sale of the particular property etc.
