1.(a) Radiation and conduction"
To reduce the heat lost by radiation and conduction, superficial blood

(b) Body heat is still being
liberated when the
surrounding temperature is equal to the body. temperature.
It is because the heat energy liberated is produced by the basal
metabolism of the body.
(c) When the surrounding
temperature is equal to the body temperature, the heat added to the body by
radiation and conduction is equal to the heat. Tost in the same way. This makes
evaporation of water, to become the only effective
means to remove heat from the body..
(d) Inertia and decreased:

If the lava is viscous,
if the vent of the volcano is
blocked, eruption will.
explosive. Such explosive
eruption can usually remové the top of the volcano. turning it into a rounded funnel-shaped hollow which reaches great depth. In some cases, the hollows are formed by the collapse or subsidence of the top, resulting in the cooling. contraction of magma. The vent will be finally blocked by solidified lava. In time, water fills the hollow.. converting it into a lake called crater lake or caldera lake.
