Between 1971 and 1976, employment in the tertiary production has grown faster than in primary and secondary
production. Average growth. rates of employment in primary secondary, and tertiary production during 1971-76 are:

There are two factors which accounted for the rápid growth in employment of tertiary sector in ng hừng First, as a result of increasing affluence in recent years, the demand for those services which enable the communitý to enjoy the benefits of higher incones bas increased over tine. Secondly, there has been a growing demand for imports. In the South East asian region and this has also generated a growing demand for services.
