It will become a law of Hong Kong when the Governor (or in some special cases; the Crown). gives his assent:

The Labour Tribunal provides a quick, simple and inexpensive method to settle such claims. The proceedings are quite informal and.
·usually conducted in Cantonese. A Presiding Officer will hear the case and no lawyers are: permitted. Thé President is empowered to punish forse contempt during the course of the proceedings.
It should be noted that the Labour Tribunal is not concerned with group disputes nor collective bargaining with management. Furthermore. appeal agiainst the decision of the Tribunal could only be.. brough: with leave from the District Court.

To rehabilitate the offenders under the supër- vision of a probation officer.

In recent years, emphasis has been put on corrective treatments and rehabilitation-of criminals in addition to the various forms of punishment. Prisons and detention centres are set up to help the convicted persons to rehabilitate rather than to punish then only...
(c) Legal Aids for Criminal

Legal aid is ayailable in
Hong Kong for both civil and
criminal trials, and appeals in the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the District Court. Anybody can be eligible for
