SENIOR STAFF VACANCIES
Applicants are invited for the following posts:
SENIOR SOILS ENGINEERS.
Applicants should have had several years' experience in the fields of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering as well as Consolidation, Slope Stability and Seepage Studies. A post-graduate qualification in Soil "Mechanics would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEERS
Applicants should have previous experience in the construction industry and be thoroughly conversant with all aspects of planning, cost benefit studies of new techniques and economic appraisal of alternative methods of construction as applied to large civil engineering contracts. An appropriate technical or professional qualification is desirable but applicants whose range of experience outweighs' these formal qualifica- tions will also be considered.
SÉNIOR CIVIL ENGINEERS (design and/or construction)
Applicants should have sound design and site experience covering earthworks, steelworks and concrete. Experience in deep excavations in difficult and aggressive soils, construction of heavy concrete foundations, design and construction of tunnel linings would be a distinct advantage. The possession of an appropriate academic and professional qualification is desirable.
* Salaries are negotiated individually, depending on experience" and
qualifications but will not be less than HK$60,000.00 per annum.
Free staff insurance and medical care are provided.
3-weeks leave per annum.
Subsidized housing.
* Other fringe benefits will include car allowance, provident fund and' Lunar Year-end Bonus.
These are senior appointments with excellent prospects for promotion.
