The following are some of the points to remember [in Precis-writing:
read the passage over carefully until you fully grasp its meaning.
Jot down the important points of each 3-8 lines, Join together the points so that they read amoothlyy - as a nonnected whole. Do not look at the original passage while doing so,
Count the number of words and take care to delete
all unimportant details and figures of speech. See, if you have left out any essential points if che number Falls short.
