The answers to the exer ises will: appear the following week. For some questions there are several possible answers and it is impossible, for reasons of space, to give all the alternatives. In these cases they most usual word will be given.
Comprehension questions should be answered in complete sentences unless otherwise stated but, for reasons of space, brief answers only will be printed in the paper.
To save space the same passage will be used for precís writing and for answering comprehension questions although it ahould be remembered that in the Hong Kong School Certificate Examination two separate passages are det.
When writing precis the student should remember to include all the points which are important to the story, Leave out unnecessary detail and, most important, tp.
