The group of whole" seedlings is affected by gravity equally on all sides. the seedlings continue to grow straight. This effect is brought about by the shoot tip affecting the growing region behind it.

The shoots in the other groups of seedlings by removing the tipa. of each seedling are influenced by gravity.
