The View from the Peak
In Hong Kong, the walk around the Peak is very popular. from
the Peak Tram, one can view the new city buildings and, from the top of the Peak, the whole of the harbour can be ssed. Everything looks very small from that great height. It is enjoyable to wander along. Lugard Head, stopping occasionally to look at the diversity of scenery below. On the return journey along Harlech Road, the view is different. There are no buildings in sight just the peaceful sea and some birds and junke. It is surprising to find such a contrast during a short walk.
