to remunerate the Starbon Master for the additional duties thus imposed upon him, in which case as the Public Officers of the Colony are not allowed to appropriate fees of office, I would suggest that a small addition be made to his Salary; and a scale of Fees fixed and authorized by local Ordinance, sufficient to reimburse the Colony.
6. I should be glad to receive from the Board of Trade a Schedule of the Fees which their Lordships consider reasonable for Services performed by the Registrar of Shipping and Shipping Master under the Merchant Shipping Act. I may
