Lakely granted to the Military Authorities. For Lots Res 26 and 27 at Wanchai there was no bidding. It will be observed that the premium paid for 10594; $270 is excessive, and it is the more remarkable as the Lot is comparatively worthless to the purchaser, it being situated considerably below the level of the Road; and only available as a yard to the premises adjoining.

The prices realized at Hawan were excessive for such a locality and such steep inconvenient land.
