This Office is the only shipping Office in the Colony. Every Seamen's Boarding house has a Board hung in this Office with the names and particulars respecting its inmates posted thereon, for the inspection of Masters of vessels requiring hands; and the seamen of all nations attend in the yard during Office hours for the purpose of shipping, as an opportunity occurs.
