YESTERDAY'S FREIGHT RETURNS.
LOCAL IMPORTS AND THROUGH FREIGHTS GOOD.
GOOD" BRITISH IMPORES.
Fifteen "arrivals and thirteen departures were shown for the es hours ended at 9 am yesterday of which seven yarrivals and five, departures Were British vessels. Fourteen vessels discharged a total of 11,403 tons for this port of which six British ships contributed 6,993 tons. The two best cargo returns were shown by the as. Apoey (British) with 4,100 tons of general cargo from For: Kamfa and Hai. how; and the ais. Daviken (Nor wegian) with 3,300 tons of rice from Bangkok and Hoihow.
Eight vessels carried 19,939 tons of through freights of which five British ships carried, 2,293 toas. The best carrier WAS the 6.5
Muroran Maru (Japanese) from Yokohams and Moji with 3,481 tons of general cargo: The 5.3. Tjialak (Dutch) from Batavia and Amoy so carried 2,305 tons as second best carrier,
