To You Tai, mistress of a passen. ger boat appeared before Comdr. J. B. Newill, D.S.O., at the Marine Court yesterday on a summons for committing a breach of her licence | by carrying cargo, namely ́coal' baskets on her passenger boat, when ber licence only permitted passen- ger luggage. The defendant plead- ed guilty and a fine of $3 with the alternative of Ave' days' hard labour was imposed.
Asiatic Deck Passengers.
