Although there were 14 vessels | Empress of Australia, Feb. 10th.. arriving here during the 21 hours ended at 9 am yesterday, freights hrought for the Colony were again below the average. Through cargo, however, remained normal.

For Hong Kong there were only 7,20 tons discharged. The were from mine eteamers, of which, four were British. The total tonnage unioaded from British

ships amounted to 4,923 tons. The two best retaras were 3,000 tons from the sa. Itaurang, from Sandakan and 1,320 tone from the 5.2 Tihoda arriving from Batavia and Manila

For ports beyond the Colony there Three British were 14,408 tone. ships were responsible for 637 tous. The two best returns were shown by We as Jaw (Danish) and the Tiba (Dutch). The former_ar, riving from Copenhagen and Sia- Hapore carried 5,412 tons and the latter from Batavia and Manila manifested 4,050 tons.
