Life-belts, oars, pieces of boards, tables and other articles belonging to the steamer Elkton have been found on the beach of Homcahon island, Samar. The municipal authorities of Guiula, Samar, are conducting an investigation and have ordered the articles to be gathered up.

The Elkton was mysteriously lost at sea's few weeks ago, and efforts to ascertain her fate proved futile. *Manila Times.
