At the Marine Court yesterday, before Lieut.-Commander G. F. Hole, RN.. the master of a trading juck was fined 83, or five days' hard labour in default; for failing to produce his licence on request. He pleaded guilty stating that SAN FRANCISCO via Shanghai, Japan Ports & Honolulu.
the licence was in the hands of the G.M.S. The Marine Magistrate pointed out that it had been there for lour daya and defendant had been too slack to fetch it.
