A. COLLISION OFF THE TAKU BAR,

JAPANESE CLAIM AGAINST BRITISH STEAMER. «

A collision between two steamers, the Chenglee and the Nancy Moller, outside the Taku Bar on the night of March 18th, 1920, was the subject of an action begun in H.M. Supreme Court, at Shanghai, before his Honour Judge Skinner Turner and Capt. Hartford, of H.M.S. Kinska, sitting as Nautical Assessor. The owners of the str. Chenglee claim Y.19,015, $8,775 and Tls. 55

The defence set up that collision was caused by the negligent and improper navigation of the Chenglee.
