Correspondence (including parcela) is being despatched as opportunity offers; but all Services are irregular and uncertain and all correspondence is liable to delay.
The Farcel Post Service to France is suspended until further notice.
The Parcel Post and Insured Letter system to Brazil is suspended. Notice is given that although every possible precaution is taken to secure the safety of all postal packets whilst in the custody of the Post Office the Postmaster-General cannot give compensation for any
loss or d'an age which may be due to the act of the King's enemies. Until further notice no Letters, Boxes, Parcels for Belgium, Brazil, Crete, or Montenegro and no Letters, Boxes or Parcels for Malia can be accepted for insurance.
The Farcel Post Service to the United Kingdom is in full: working oder in both directions by the long sea route.
The Parcel Post Service to Egpyt and certain countries men- tioned served by Egypt is resumed for ordinary parcels only:
Crete, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Algeria, Tunis, Switzerland and (Libya) Tripoli,
The Services to Germany, Austria, and their Colonies, and to the Ottoman Empire are suspended.
Unregistered Letters and Post Cards may now be sent to Tsingtau.
The FRENCH MAIL from Europe is expected to arrive here to-day,
The MAIL FROM LONDON (vis Siberia), of Bunday, the 1st alt, is hero tomorrow,
