THE HONGKONG GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 22ND AUGUST, 1863.
The forms of letter bills and acknowledgments of receipt of which the Offices of Aden, Madras, Calcutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, and Hong Kong shall make use in their communications with the office of Marseilles with the travelling office from Marseilles to Lyons, and with the Post Office Agents on board the French mail packets of the Indo-China lines, to verify the results of the trans- mission of the correspondence carried by the said packets, shall agree with the patterns above re- ferred to.
ARTICLE 16.
All the regulations concerning ordinary or re- gistered letters and printed papers comprised in the mails exchanged between the French Offices and the British Offices in Asia, by way of Suez and by means of British packets, which are not contrary to the present Articles, shall be applica- ble to articles of the saine nature comprised in the mails which the Office of Marseilles, the Travel- ling Office from Lyons to Marseilles, and the Post Office Agents on board the French nail packets of the Indo-China lines, shall exchange by means of those packets with the Offices of Aden, Madras, Calcutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, and Hong- Kong.
ARTICLE 17.
The present Articles shall be considered as additional to the detailed Regulations arranged between the Post Office of France and the Post Office of Great Britain for the execution of the Convention of the 24th September 1856, signed at Paris the 27th October 1856 and at London on the 12th November 1856, and shall be carried into effect on the first day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
Done in duplicate, and signed at London the nineteenth day of June one thousand eight hun- dred and sixty-three and at Paris the twenty- third day of the same month.

Les formules des feuilles d'avis et d'accusés de réception dont les Bureaux d'Aden, Madras, Cal- cutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, et Hong Kong feront usage dans leurs rapports avec le Bureau de Marseille, avec le Bureau ambulant de Marseille à Lyon, et avec les Agents des Poste embarqués sur les paquebots-poste Français des lignes de l'Indo-Chine, pour constater les faits de la trans- mission des correspondances transportées par les dits paquebots, devront s'accorder avec les mode- les ci-dessus designés.
ARTICLE 16.
Toutes les dispositions concernant les lettres ordinaires ou chargées et les imprimés compris dans les dépêches échangées entre les Bureaux Français et les Bureaux Britanniques d'Asie par la voie de Suez et des paquebots Britanniques, qui ne sont pas contraires aux présents Articles, seront applicables aux objets de même nature compris dans les dépêches que le Bureau de Marseille, le Bureau ambulant de Lyon à Marseille, et les Agents des Postes embarqués sur les pa- quebots-poste Français des lignes de l'Indo-Chine Echangeront au moyen de ces paquebots avec les Bureaux d'Aden, Madras, Calcutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, et Hong Kong.
ARTICLE 17.
Les présents Articles seront considérés comme additionnels au Réglement de détail et d'ordre arrêté entré l'Administration des Postes de France et l'Administration des Postes de la Grande Bre- tagne pour l'exécution de la Convention du 24 Septembre 1856, signé à Paris le 27 Octobre 1856, et Londres le 12 Novembre 1856, et seront mis à execution le 1er Août 1863.
Fait en double original, et signé à Londres le dix-neuvième jour du mois de Juin mil huit cent et soixante-trois et à Paris le vingt-troisième jour du même mois.
