To the Superintendent of Victoria Gaol.
Whereas His Excellency Sir Richard Graves MacDonnell, Kuight, and Com→ panion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in- Chief of this Colony and its Dependencies by Warrant under his Hand and Seal has signified that pursuant to the above Ordinance, Requisition has been duly made to bin for delivering up to Justice, one
charged with having committed the Crime of
within the Territory of Macao and now detained in Victoria Gaol under your Custody and has directed the Police Magistrates to govern themselves accord- ingly for the Purpose of his being delivered up to Justice under the Provisions of the said Orilinance.

2. That Your Petitioner [has been advised] or [believes] that the said Order of Committal ought to be reversed on the following Grounds that is to say: [State Grounds.]
