Kurushima Shiraishi Beacon Light.
Position:Lat. N. 34° 6' 20"; Long. E. 132° 58' 55" (The degree being added 0° 0' 11" E. to that of the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 132).
Description:-Lower part concrete, upper part iron lattice work, painted red.
Height of light :--32 "shaku" above the water.
Character of light :--Acetylene gas occulting red; light 2 secs. ; eclipse 2 secs.
Illuminated are:-The whole horizon.
Power:--80 candles.
Visibility 9 nautical miles in clear night.
N.B. The light being unwatched, should the light go out by accident, there may be some delay in refighting it.
