Sn,--For the better protection of British Subjects in Siam, I have the honour to request that in le, every British Subject leaving the territorics of the Government over which you preside for or the King of Siani, may be furnished with an individual and separate passport or legal certificate tionality containing such description of the person of the holder as shall make identification sible, and prevent fraudulent transfer of the document.
Any person travelling or residing in Siam without such passport or certificate of nationality, not under ordinary circumstances claim the protection of this Agency.
I have the honour to report that the matter of this Circular may be communicated to all Vice- nemecs or Commissioners of Provinces within your jurisdiction.
