Drivers of Chairs.
63. Drivers shall not carry more than two chairs side by side in any road.
64. When two chairs are side by side the drivers of the chair on the right must give way on meeting or on being overtaken by any vehicle or person. In the event of a breach of this regulation the drivers of the chair on the right shall be deemed to be in fault.
65. Drivers shall not carry two chairs side by side in Battery Path or in Plantation Road between Chamberlain Road and Plunkett's Gap. In the event of a breach of this regulation the drivers of the chair on the right shall be deemed to be in fault.
66. Drivers shall not carry a chair in Findlay Path except when proceeding upwards from Plantation Road.
Vehicles.
67. An applicant for a vehicle licence shall cause the vehicle to be brought to such place as the Captain Superintendent of Police may direct, for purposes of inspection.
68. The licensee of a vehicle shall provide a suitable place for the accommodation of such vehicle to the satisfaction of the Captain Superintendent of Police.
69. The licensee of a vehicle shall notify any change in his address to the Captain Superintendent of Police, who shall endorse the licence and the Register of Licences. accordingly.
70. On change of ownership of a licensed private vehicle other thau a truck the person acquiring such vehicle shall report his name and address and date of acquisition to the Captain Superintendent of Police, who shall endorse the licence and the Register of Licences accordingly.
71. Every wheel of a vehicle shall be truly circular, accurately centred upon its axle, and fitted to work thereon without oscillation or side play.
72. Every vehicle, other than a motor vehicle, shall carry its licence number in figures not less than two inches in height and half an inch in thickness of line painted on or affixed to the vehicle in such colours and in such positions as the Captain Super- intendent of Police may prescribe.
73. The licence number on a vehicle shall not be obscured in any way.
74. A licensee shall not allow any vehicle other than a bicycle or tricycle to be left unattended in any road, except at such places as may be approved by the Captain Superintendent of Police.
75. The owner of a vehicle for which a licence is required and the licensee of a licensed vehicle shall not allow such vehicle to be driven by a driver who does not hold an appropriate driver's licence. In proceedings under this regulation it shall not be necessary to allege or to prove guilty knowledge on the part of the owner or the licensee and it shall be no defence to prove absence of guilty knowledge.
Public Vehicles.
76. An applicant for a licence for a public vehicle shall, as a condition of the issue of such licence, enter into a bond in the sum of $50 with one surety to the satisfaction of the Captain Superintendent of Police making obligatory the attendance before the Captain Superintendent of Police of the licensee or the driver of the vehicle, whenever required, and the payment of fines, compensation, or damages imposed, awarded, or recovered on, against, or from the licensee or driver of such vehicle.
