The Council met pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Meeting, held on the 13th November, 1890, were read and confirmed.
PAPERS.-The Acting Colonial Secretary, by direction of His Excellency the Officer Administer- ing the Government, laid on the table a statement concerning cost of Law Revision Commission, and cost of the new edition of the. Hongkong Ordinances.
Honourable T. H. WHITEHEAD gave notice that at the next Meeting of Council he would ask the following questions:-

1. Is the Government aware that the water supply to the Robinson Road district was cut off for several days last week, and that no notice whatever was given of the fact so as to allow the inhabitants to make provision to obtain water from some other source? Will the Govern- necessary instructions so that the public may have some notice in future of when and for how long it is proposed to cut off the water supply?
