SIR-I have the honour to transmit to you, for publication in the Colony under your Govern- ment, a copy of an Order of Her Majesty the Queen in Council, dated the 1st of May, 1890, for carrying into effect an arrangement concluded on the 31st of December, 1889, between the Government of Her Majesty and the Government of the French Republic acting in the name of His Highness the Bey of Tunis, for extending to Tunis the provisions of the Treaty between Her Majesty and the President of the French Republic, dated the 14th of August, 1876, for the mutual Extradition of Fugitive Criminals.
You will observe that the extension of the Treaty to Tunis came into operation on the 16th instant.
