YANGTZE RIVER-KIUKIANG DISTRICT.

BEACONS SHIFTED FURTHER INLAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the washing away of the river bank, the follow- ing Beacons have been shifted :—

Chuankiangkow Beacon Light has been shifted to the cliffs on the right bank of the river and bears N. 89° W. from its former position.

Eagle Island Beacon Light has been shifted 300 feet S. 35° E. from its former position. Shansi Point Beacon Light has been shifted 300 feet N. 71° E. from its former position. Point Otter Beacon Light has been shifted 366 feet S. 28° W. from its former position. Tungliu Beacon Light has been shifted 585 feet S. 15° W. from its former position. All bearings given are magnetic.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 99.

The Black Nun Buoy marking Wufu Shoal to be replaced by a Black Spar Buoy. NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 15th inst. the present Black Nun Buoy marking the Northern edge of the Wufu Shoal will be removed and a Black Spar Buoy substituted in its place.
