Rule made by the Governor in Council under section 6 of the New Territories Regu- lation Ordinance, 1910, Ordinance No. 34 of 1910, on the 25th day of February, 1931.
When any permit or licence whatsoever issued by any District Officer in the per- formance of his duty or office has been lost and it is desired to replace it by the issue of a duplicate, it shall be lawful for any District Officer in the performance of his duty or office, upon being satisfied that the explanation as to the loss is satisfactory and upon payment of a fee of $1, in each case, to issue a duplicate of the permit or licence so lost to any person deemed by him to be entitled thereto.
