Regulations.

29. It shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to Regulations make regulations for the better carrying out of the provisions by Governor of this Ordinance in respect of all or any of the following in Council. matters :-
(1) the forms of all notices required to be given or sent under this Ordinance and the issuing and service thereof;
(2) the time and place for the payment of all moneys due or to become due under this Ordinance;
(3) deposits to be made by consumers;
(4) fees and the payment thereof;
(5) the price of water;
(6) free allowances of water to approved hospitals, charitable institutions or other premises;
(7) the fixing of meters, the amount of meter rents and the ascertaining of the consumption at any premises;
(8) the notification of restriction or suspension of the water supply;
(9) the disconnexion of the water supply to a consumer;
(10) the licensing of plumbers;
(11) the standards required for pipes and fittings to be used on inside and fire services;
(12) the construction, alteration and maintenance of inside and fire services including the keeping of such services clean:
(13) notification to consumers that any inside or fire service is defective;
(14) the prevention of waste of water;
(15) the taking of water from public standpipes, the regulation or restriction of the persons resorting or desiring to resort thereto, the apportionment or rationing or restriction of the supplies which may be taken therefrom and the giving of powers to police officers and others with a view to such regula- tion, apportionment, rationing and restriction;
(16) the use of water from the waterworks for flushing water closets, latrines and urinals;
(17) the use of water from the waterworks for air conditioning plants and swimming pools;
(18) the taking of fish in reservoirs ;
(19) for prescribing any thing which is by this Ordinance to be prescribed by regulations;
(20) all such matters not hereinbefore specifically men tioned as may conduce to the better and more effective carrying out of this Ordinance.
