Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.
OTICE is hereby given that the BRITISH CIGARETTE COMPANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the Laws of Hong- kong), of 18 Bank Buildings, Hongkong. and 22 Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 9th day of Sept- ember, 1913, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Mark:
This Trade Mark consists of a panel in the center of which is depicted two Pep- per Pods. Above are the words RED PEPPER and below the Company's
name.
in the name of BRITISH CIGARETTE COM- PANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the laws of Hongkong), of 18 Fank Buildings, Hongkong, and 22 Museum Road. Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods :-
Manufactured Tobacco, in Class 45.

THE TRADE MARKS ORDINANCE, 1909.
Application for Begistration of Trade Marks.
OTICE is hereby given that J. CSAWA & Co.. of Victoria in the Colony of Hong- kong, Merchants, have on the 26th day of June, 1913. applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the two following Trade Marks :—
One Trade Mark consists of the represen- tation of a girl's head and shoulders surmounted by a Crown supporting an elephant's head.
The other Trade Mark consists of the representation of a boy clad in a singlet and examining another sing- let through lorgnettes,
in the name of ISABURO NAKAMURA who claims to be the proprietor thereof.
The Trade Marks have respectively been used by the Applicants in respect of Cotton vests and drawers, in Class 38 since 13th March, 1905, and 10th August, 1909.
A facsimile of the Trade Marks can be seen at the Office of the Registrar of Trade Marks, Hongkong, and also at the Offices of the under- signed.

Application for Registration of Trade Marks.
NOTICE is hereby given that W. R. LOX-
LEY & Co.. of York Buildings, Victoria- in the Colony of Hongkong, Merchants, have on the 15th day of May, 1913, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks, viz.-
1. The mark consists of a Chinese sitting on the ground with four cages of Birds around him. In his left hand he is holding up a Birdcage which he is shewing to two Chinese Women and a Child standing in front of him.
2. The mark consists of two Chinese Ladies standing in a doorway and immediately in front of them is a Chinese Gentleman in the act of go- ing away.
3. The mark consists of two Chinese Ladies standing at a garden gate. In front of them is a Chinaman with a spade across his right shoulder,
in the name of W. R. Loxley & Co., who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The Trade Marks are intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of Cotton Picce Goods, in Class 24.
