occupied the Chair.

2. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 12th October, 1933, were confirmed.
OATH.
3. The Hon. the Officer Commanding the Troops, (Brigadier ROBERT BAXTER COUSENS, D.S.O.), took the Oath of Allegiance and his seat as a Member of the Council.

4. The following papers were laid on the table :-
Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 2 of the Advertise- ments Regulation Ordinance, 1912, Ordinance No. 19 of 1912, relating to the display of advertisements, dated 11th October, 1933.
Rules made by the Chief Justice under section 48 of the Divorce Ordinance, 1932, Ordinance No. 35 of 1932, and by section 9 of the Interpretation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 31 of 1911, dated 31st August, 1933. Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 9 (1) of the Police Force Ordinance, 1932, Ordinance No. 37 of 1932, dated 12th October, 1933,
Proclamation No. 4.-Divorce Ordinances No. 35 of 1932 and No. 9 of 1933, to
come into operation on the 1st November, 1933.

5. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee
(No. 10), dated the 12th October, 1933, and moved its adoption.

That the By-law made by the Sanitary Board under section 16 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, on the 13th day of October, 1933, be adopted.
