JETTY LIGHT-TUMBY BAY (HARVEY BAY).

MASTERS of vessels and others are informed that, on and after the 1st day of August next, a Red Light (in lieu of the white one shown at present) will be exhibited from the end of the Tumby Bay new jetty, and will be visible from seaward between the bearings of north 70 west and south 70 west, showing over the deep water between Tumby Reef on the south side of the bay to the shoal water on the north. The Light will be visible in clear weather for a distance of six (6) miles.

Approximate position, lat. 34° 23' S.; long. 156° 6′ E.

This affects Admiralty chart No. 2389B.

New Mooring Buoy in Canton Harbour.

NOTICE is hereby given that a new mooring buoy has been laid in Canton Harbour, in

the 1st berth below Shameen Rock.

It will carry a white light between sunset and sunrise.

Anamba Islands,

INFORMATION has been received from the Consul General for the Netherlands that a dioptric acetylene flashlight is being exhibited at Mangkai, Anamba Islands, as from the 1st instant, Latitude 3° 5′ 12′′ N. Longitude 105° 36′ 0′′ Ě.

The light is visible at a distance of 33 nautical miles (the flash observed at 37 nautical miles) and is erected on an iron skeleton tower, painted white, the height of which is 25

The character of the light is a flash every five seconds, vizible during 0-5 second.
