The above enumerated Articles must be of good quality, deliverable at the Central Police Barracks at such times and in such quantities as may be required.
The successful tenderer will be expected to enter into a bond, containing a penalty in case of failure or refusal to carry out the terms of the tender.
Form of tender may be obtained at the Colonial Secretary's Office, and this form only must be used.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

REFERRING to Government Notification No. S. 196, information has been received from the Commissioner of Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs that the Junk, sunk in the Canton River, South of Lankit, has been blown up and that no impediment to navigation any longer exists, the depth of water there being normal.

North Channel Approach to the Yangtze.
NOTICE is hereby given that, on or about the 10th June, the Drinkwater Point Gas- Hghted Buoy will be shifted 6 cables south (magnetic) from its present position and will be arlas-lighted Buoy. It will then mark the northern side of the channel.
A recent survey of the North Channel is on view at the Coast Inspector's Office.
