At the Kajow Signal-mast the west and east yard-arms will, for signalling purposes, correspond respectively with the south and north yard-arms of the Signal-mast near Woo- sung Light-house.

A spherical shape, by day, and a white light, by night, will be hoisted at the mast-head when the tide is rising and will be kept up as long as the tide continues to rise, and another at the gaff to show half feet.

The difference between the depth of water on what is known as the Woosung Outer Bar and that in the Astra Channel will be shown, during day-light, from below the para- pet of the Woosung Light-house, by symbols as notified in Harbour Notification No. 4 of

1910.

Final Notice.

THE Government of Western Australia gives notice that on and after the 1st March, 1910, a Dioptric Fixed, Occulting Light of the 3rd Order will be exhibited from a cement concrete tower of a natural grey colour, erected on Cape Inscription (Dirk Hartog Island), in Latitude 25deg. 29min. 30sec. South, Longitude 112deg. 58min. East.

The Light will be Occulting, showing an eclipse of 2 seconds every 7 seconds, as

follows:-

Bright, 5 seconds.

Eclipse, 2 seconds.

Total period, 7 seconds.

The focal plane of the light, above high water, will be 127 feet, and will be visible between the bearings of North 42deg. East and North 54deg. West. (Bearings magnetic, and given from seaward.)

The Light will be visible in clear weather from a distance of 18 nautical miles.
