Position :-Lat. 34° 32′ 53′′ N., and Long. 136° 59′ 19′′ E.

Construction and painting :-Iron tower, upper part circular and lower square, painted
white.
Height of light
-245 ft. from the base and 365-9 ft. above the water.
Character of light :-3rd order revolving white, showing one flash every 15 seconds. Illuminated are:-From S. 35° E., through S. and W., to N. 14° 20′ W.
(Magnetic bearings taken from the sea.)
Candle power :--7,000.
Distance visible :-26 nautical miles in clear weather.
SECONDARY LIGHT AT KAMI-SHIMA LIGHTHOUSE.

-62 ft. from the base and 347'6 ft. above the water.
Character of light :-Fixed white light.
Candle power:-3,000,000.
This light will throw its rays on the shallowest part of Kodzukami-sho,
KODZUKAMI-SHO LEADING LAND-MARKS.

When vessels entering Ise-kai through Irako-suido, on passing near the point of intersection of the alignment of A and B with that of C and D, have taken their course towards N. by E. as far as Kami-shima Lighthouse can be seen in W.S.W. direction, they will be clear. out a little over 5 cables from Kodsukami-sho.
