I have seen on my return to the Office your minute of 18 November to Mr. Morgan, about pensions policy.
2. I very much agree with the views you have expreased therein about Fiji, and also with the desirability of including the other dependent territories in the Pacific in any arrangement made.
3. I was greatly concerned to find in the G.B.I.C. a strong feeling of "abandonment" amon, the expatriates.)

(Sir Leslic Monson found it also in the
New Hebrides and the Solomons. Any arrangement
about pensions that did not include these
territories would, I think, be a serious further blow to already wobbly morale.
