香港研究史料全文搜尋器是 Histsyn.com 的一個擴張計劃，旨在為香港史研究者提供一個便捷的搜尋工具，全數據庫以完全免費方式，供社會大眾使用。
數據庫涵蓋多種研究材料，包括：
- Directories and Chronicles：1840年代起至1940年代的資料，包含香港及其他遠東地區的公司、人物、機構等材料，亦有其他如法律、章程、地圖等材料。
- CO129：殖民地部129系列檔案，為研究香港戰前歷史最重要的材料。包含港督及各部門與英國殖民地部的通訊。因為香港本地檔案因二戰而極度殘缺，CO129成為非常重要的一手研究資料。
- FCO40：外交及殖民地（聯邦事務）部40系列檔案，為研究香港戰後重要的材料，主要是 FCO 與香港部（Hong Kong Department）間的通訊紀錄。
- 行政報告：本港各政府部門的年度報道，為了解香港各環節的發展提供重要參考材料。
- 兩局文件：主要是香港政權在行政立法兩局審議的重要文件，通常涉及立法事宜及其相關報告。
- 藍皮書：含有大量重要數據報告，提供重要的詳實數據史料，由法律、商務、社會各階層事宜均有覆蓋。
- 立法局議程：立法局（定例局）大會的詳盡議事紀錄。
- 香港年報：政府自戰後統一編印的年代報告，涵蓋香港各方面的發展概況，其中新聞處攝影的照片，亦是非常珍貴的材料。
- 華僑年鑑：可以說是 Daily Press 印製的Directories and Chronicles戰後中文版，因其內容完全以香港為主，所以比 DC 更具史料價值，更為豐富詳實。
- 香港碑銘彙編：由香港中文大學主持編集的香港碑銘史料，為研究香港更長時期的歷史，提供珍貴的參考材料。
- RASHKB Journal：Royal Asiatic Society Hong Kong Branch Journal是香港史研究最為重要的期刊材料。
- Who's Who in Hong Kong / the Far East：人物簡介材料。

The Hong Kong Historical Documents Full-text Search Engine is an expansion project of Histsyn.com, aiming to provide a convenient search tool for Hong Kong history researchers. The entire database is available to the public for free.
The database covers various research materials, including:
- Directories and Chronicles: Data from the 1840s to the 1940s, containing materials such as companies, people, institutions, etc. in Hong Kong and other Far East regions, as well as other materials such as laws, regulations, maps, etc.
- CO129: The Colonial Office 129 series records, the most important materials for studying Hong Kong’s pre-war history. It contains correspondences between the Governors and various departments and the British Colonial Office. Because the local files in Hong Kong were severely damaged by the Second World War, CO129 became a very important primary research source.
- FCO40: The Foreign and Commonwealth Office 40 series files, an important material for studying Hong Kong’s post-war history, mainly the communication records between FCO and the Hong Kong Department.
- Administrative Reports: The annual reports of various government departments in Hong Kong, providing important reference materials for understanding the development of various aspects of Hong Kong.
- Sessional Papers: Mainly the important documents deliberated by the Hong Kong authorities in the Executive and Legislative Councils, usually involving legislative matters and related reports.
- Blue Books: Containing vast important data reports, providing important and detailed historical data, covering legal, commercial, social and other aspects.
- Legislative Council Proceedings: The detailed minutes of the Legislative Council (Regular Council) meetings.
- Hong Kong Annual Reports: The annual reports compiled by the government since the post-war period, covering the development of various aspects of Hong Kong, including the photos taken by the Information Services Department, which are also very precious materials.
- Wah Kiu Hongkong Yearbook: It can be said that it is the Chinese version of the Directories and Chronicles printed by Daily Press after the war. Because its content is entirely based on Hong Kong, it has more historical value and is more rich and detailed than DC.
- Hong Kong Inscriptions Compilation: The Hong Kong inscriptions historical materials edited by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, providing valuable reference materials for studying the longer history of Hong Kong.
- RASHKB Journal: Royal Asiatic Society Hong Kong Branch Journal is the most important academic papers for Hong Kong history research.
